Born in London, Ontario in 1923, Wilson Ewin was raised on his parent's farm in the same area. They were members of a small community Baptist Church, and here, Wilson became a Christian at the age of 13. Upon graduation from London's Sir Adam Beck Collegiate, he joined Canada's RCAF and served as a pilot instructor until the end of World War 2. In the fall of 1945 he was strangely prevented in several attempts to begin university training in engineering, medicine and political science. Five years later, Wilson entered London Bible Institute.
Following his graduation in 1953, the Ewin family moved to Quebec for the gospel ministry among French Canadians. It was a difficult task at that time for a virtual union of church and State was being observed by politicians, clergy and people. Wilson has been jailed, stoned, manhandled, and threatened with death. The Bible was a forbidden book, but nevertheless, much progress was seen and several local churches were built, one of these being in the New England States.
Then something happened. Following the Vatican 2 Council of 1963-1965, a radical change began to shake the entire Province. Wilson monitored the idealogical hurricane through published articles, books and literature. One of these entitled, Quebec's Impending Fate: Communist State was reprinted several times. Considering that an attempted coup in 1970 would only remain dormant for a period of time. Wilson felt the moment had come to warn of an even greater storm.
